In September 2015, the world pledged to revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development (SDG 17).

As one of the consequences of this vow, in 2016, the new Global Strategy for the European Foreign and Security Policy and the Commission proposal for a new European Consensus on Development recognised the Partnership between the European Union and Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) and Local Authorities (LAs) as a key principle.

The Partnership Forum 2017 will act as an interactive platform generating constructive dialogue and gathering feedback on best practices to help the EU institutions further develop its Partnerships and the joint responses they bring to complex and evolving challenges in the field.

This event will bring together CSOs from both the international development and Human Rights constituencies with European Institutions and Member States.

Join us on 6 & 7 July in Brussels to build momentum, create synergies and develop initiatives.
